Austria is well known for the ski resorts which are very well equipped with all the comforts. Vehicles for ski-lovers, like snow scooters, snow bikes or so-called snowfox are available in most of the resorts. In recent years, short boards, similar to skateboards have become very popular. Those, who prefer extreme sports or games, can try a ride down the slope in pontoon or rolling downhill in a big sphere. Then again, the old saying of extreme sport lovers is still up to date: "Whoever climbs up on the top of the mountain will finally get back to the valley."

Perfectly prepared ski routes are offered to every skier in thousands of kilometres - whether you look for an easy slope, allowing long and wide curves or a really difficult route that will let you rush down the hill leaving mists of fresh dust behind you it really does not matter.
